| So today I am leaving for DC. I'm really excited to be starting my "college search". I really do want to go to a school in the Washington DC area because it'll give me a lot of internship opportunities in the fields I am interested in (which, if you do not know already, are International Relations and History) Plus I hear it is absolutely beautiful down in that area and I would want to experience that. I would want to experience different kind of people too, not just the kind of people I'm surrounded by in Commack and Long Island. (Because most of them are superficial anyway) Maybe I'm just being idealistic but I'm hoping for a whole different world out there then the one I've been exposed too. Hopefully my dreams aren't completely crushed by the roadside.
And my cousin Christina is coming along too. Which is great, because now I have someone my age to share the experience with. But it'll be fun to scope out all the hot college guys!!!
Well I've got to go, since I'm updating at the Library and my mom is going to pick me up any minute. So yeah. I guess I'll update when I get back from DC with pictures and everything!! |

| I've been using this Xanga for 799 days. I just noticed that before. That's insane.
Anyway I haven't updated in awhile because there is really not much to update about really. My life is pretty boring when it comes down to it. I don't have a car, I can't go anywhere. Yeah.
But I can going to Washington D.C. to do some college searching. I'm excited, I'm really, really excited. |
